VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) 2008
August 11th - 15th, 2008 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. each night ~ for all ages!
You'll want to meet our Cactus Canyon Mascot, Diego! He's yellow (and alive!) Can you guess what he is?
Each night of VBS will feature: Worship Rally Round-up, Bible Study Campfire, Crafts Corral, Recreation Barn, Chuck Wagon Snacks and . . .
. . . a special guest and/or event ~ horse 'n wagon rides, miniature horses, canyon critters from Petco in Keene -- snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, etc.!!
Special take-home gifts and activity papers each night will remind the kids what they learned about at VBS.

2007 VBS ~ "The Rescue Zone: Saved By God's Power"
The kids had a blast learning about God's goodness and power. Captain Crash entertained adults and kids alike with his antics, and the puppet skits each night were great. Rescue vehicles and personnel visited every night of VBS and the kids got to spray the fire hose, sit in the back of a police car, get blown away by the fan boat, watch the helicopter land in the field, sit in the DHART helicopter, sit in a Humvee and talk to the emergency workers.
We praise the Lord for all the children that attended VBS. The Lord provided excellent weather and no emergencies calls on Thurs. 8/9 so that the helicopter could land. Thank you to all those who were praying for our VBS, and the helicopter night specifically.
